Installation & Product Support

This page provides general compatibility, installation, setup, and support guidance for smart security products purchased from ClearVero™. Product requirements vary, and the applicable product page and manual remain the primary references.

1. Before You Purchase

Review the complete product page before ordering because power, connectivity, storage, application, installation, subscription, accessory, and warranty requirements vary by product. Do not assume every product includes AI detection, local or cloud storage, subscription-free operation, solar charging, cellular service, PoE, two-way audio, color night vision, or smart-home compatibility.

2. Reviewing Product Requirements

Confirm the stated power source, battery requirements, solar compatibility, Wi-Fi frequency, network requirements, cellular coverage and service, PoE compatibility, recorder compatibility, storage options, mobile-application requirements, subscription requirements, mounting requirements, weather rating, included accessories, and product-specific warranty.

3. Installation Options

ClearVero™ does not currently advertise or promise professional installation. Some products may be suitable for customer installation, while others may require networking, electrical, mounting, or professional technical assistance. Customers should follow the applicable product manual and all local requirements. Installation is not included unless a product page expressly and accurately states otherwise.

4. Power Requirements

Products may use batteries, solar charging, plug-in adapters, Power over Ethernet, or another stated power method. Use only compatible power equipment and follow the product documentation. Permanent wiring, unfamiliar electrical work, or work involving sealed electrical components should be handled by a qualified professional.

5. Wi-Fi and Network Requirements

Connected products may require a compatible Wi-Fi frequency, adequate signal strength, internet access, router settings, customer-created accounts, compatible mobile devices, and current software or firmware. Network conditions vary, and uninterrupted connectivity is not guaranteed.

6. Cellular Security Products

Cellular products may require compatible carrier coverage, activation, a SIM or embedded service, and a separate data plan. Coverage, plan availability, pricing, and service performance depend on the product and third-party provider and may change outside ClearVero™’s direct control.

7. PoE and NVR Systems

Power over Ethernet cameras and network video recorders require compatible networking equipment, cabling, ports, power capacity, recording channels, storage, and configuration. Confirm compatibility before purchase. Complex, high-mounted, or commercial PoE and NVR installations may require qualified technical assistance.

8. Mobile Applications and Accounts

Some products depend on a third-party mobile application, customer-created account, compatible operating system, device permissions, and internet access. Application features, availability, and supported devices can change under the provider’s terms. Protect account credentials and review permissions carefully.

9. Storage and Subscriptions

Storage options vary and may include memory cards, internal storage, network recorders, cloud services, or subscription-based services. Not every product supports every option, and storage media or a subscription may be sold separately. Secure passwords, accounts, recordings, memory cards, cloud access, and shared-account permissions.

10. Mounting and Placement

Confirm the mounting surface, hardware, viewing angle, power access, signal strength, environmental exposure, and maintenance access. Do not drill into unknown wiring, plumbing, or structural components. Use qualified assistance for high locations, roofs, unfamiliar structures, or work beyond your skills or equipment.

11. Weather and Environmental Ratings

Indoor and outdoor suitability varies. Review the stated weather, temperature, moisture, dust, and operating limits for the specific product. An outdoor appearance does not by itself establish suitability for every climate or installation.

12. Initial Setup

Before setup, review the manual, confirm compatible power and network requirements, install the required application where applicable, secure the customer account, and identify the intended storage method. Keep packaging, serial information, and product documentation while verifying operation.

13. Troubleshooting

For safe general troubleshooting:

  • Confirm that compatible power is available.
  • Check accessible cable connections.
  • Restart the product.
  • Restart network equipment where appropriate.
  • Check Wi-Fi or cellular signal strength.
  • Confirm required application permissions.
  • Review available storage capacity.
  • Check for application and firmware updates.
  • Confirm installation matches the applicable manual.

Use a factory reset only after reviewing the instructions and understanding that settings, account associations, or stored information may be removed. Do not open or repair sealed electrical components.

14. Firmware and Software

Current firmware or application software may be required for security, compatibility, and features. Follow the product provider’s official update process, maintain power and connectivity during updates where required, and do not install unverified software or modified firmware.

15. Product Manuals

Use the manual supplied with the product or the official documentation provided for that model. Do not apply model-specific instructions from an unrelated camera, recorder, application, or accessory. Contact ClearVero™ if help locating applicable documentation is needed.

16. Technical-Support Requests

For technical assistance, email info@clearvero.com or use the Contact Us page. Where applicable, provide:

  • Order number and checkout email
  • Product title and serial number
  • A detailed description and the date the issue began
  • Relevant photos, video, or error messages
  • Application and firmware versions
  • Relevant network, power, storage, and installation details
  • Troubleshooting already attempted

Do not send passwords, one-time codes, full payment details, or private footage unrelated to the issue. ClearVero™ does not promise 24/7 support, a guaranteed response time, remote repair, on-site service, or professional installation.

17. Warranty Assistance

Warranty coverage and duration are product-specific. Review the Warranty page and the applicable product documentation before submitting a request. A support request does not automatically establish warranty eligibility or guarantee a particular resolution.

18. Safe Installation

Do not perform unsafe electrical work, access dangerous heights or roofs without appropriate training and equipment, drill into unknown structures, modify products without authorization, open sealed electrical components, or install contrary to local requirements.

Use qualified professional assistance for permanent electrical wiring, high mounting locations, complex PoE or NVR systems, commercial installations, drilling into unknown structures, work requiring permits, and tasks beyond your skills or equipment.

19. Lawful Product Use

Customers are responsible for lawful installation and use. Avoid placement that improperly records private areas belonging to other people. Local rules may govern audio recording, video recording, shared spaces, public-facing cameras, employee monitoring, neighboring property, and notice or consent requirements. This is general information and not legal advice.

20. Contacting ClearVero™
